About a month ago, my family and I drove up to Malacca for the weekend. In addition to eating what seemed like an endless array of Really Good Food (I will never forget those durians, they were good AND cheap), we stumbled onto a Mini Cooper convention, explored the quaint little shops along Jonker Street and admired the Fort A Famosa.

I still have much to learn about shooting with black & white film, but I like how these photos have way more contrast than the ones from the last roll I shot.

  1. Gorgeous photographs. I've heard how good Malacca's durians are.

  2. Thank you! We didn't manage to go to this other super famous durian place that our friends had told us about, but we were fortunate enough to stumble on a good stall.

  3. these are beautiful photos! hope you have a wonderful weekend, trix :)

  4. Rachel: Thanks so much! Hope you had a lovely weekend too!

HW: Aw, thanks :) We should go on a photo-trip together sometime!
